OUR MisSION

The purpose of the Foundation is to advance VSDB educational efforts by providing resources to enhance educational activities that support the needs of the students at the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind and the larger community of potential students and graduates.

The VSDB Foundation supports all aspects of student life on campus from programs like athletics, which build teamwork, leadership, and physical health to the independent living apartments, which build independence, life skills, and social skills.

From archery clinics to the staff farmer’s market operated by students, the VSDB Foundation works with staff to ensure all students have everything needed to be successful.
