Ms. Trice came to VSDB in 2013 as the principal and has served as the Superintendent of VSDB since 2014. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Elementary Education and received her M.Ed. from Gallaudet University in Deaf Education. Pat has dedicated her career to the field of Deaf Education and has extensive experience teaching in the public-school setting, mental health setting, and as an educational consultant.
As a retired RID Nationally Certified Interpreter, Ms. Trice has taught ASL and trained sign language interpreters
for over 35 years throughout Virginia. As a founding Board member of the VSDB Foundation, she is dedicated to the mission and students of VSDB and places the best interest of the students as her highest priority.
